In his younger years Jim enjoyed boating, motorcycling and travelling in his motor home with Barb. He also enjoyed playing hockey in the Men's league and numerous poker nights with his brothers and buddies. Jim enjoyed these activities for as long as possible and owned a Spyder motorcycle in his later years. In his lifetime Jim forged strong and lasting friendships with the Hummel, Shaw and Woehl families and enjoyed many happy adventures with these special people.
In his twilight years Jim was fortunate to have the love, support and companionship of his partner, Jean. She laughed with him, enjoyed adventures with him and at the final stage of his life she cared for him. We are all grateful for the love, care and tenderness she showed to Jim. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of his friends and family who made his final years happier. A special thank you to his brother Les who filled many days visiting and reminiscing about their younger years together. We would also like to acknowledge the extraordinary care provided by Dr. Scher who attended to Jim throughout his final months. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
