John Pilato

On Sunday March 31 2024 with his family by his side, John Joseph Pilato passed away peacefully. John is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Florence Pilato and his sisters Izabelle Pagliacci, Sarah Cruise, Mary Pilato and Aida Macdonald.

John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Pilato and their daughters Adriana Pilato and Natalie Trimarchi (Vince), his three grandchildren Austin Pilato (Izabela Torbinski), Audrey Willoughby, and Nathan Trimarchi, his sisters Louise Pagliacci, Angie Gordon (Bob), his brother Eugene Pilato (Karo) and his many nieces and nephews.

John was a man passionate for his family and loved the opportunity for family dinners where he took pride in making everyone happy with their favorite dishes.

John had many titles over the years, but the title most near and dear to his heart was being 'Nonno' to Austin, Audrey and Nathan.

John's passing was unexpected and has left many hearts feeling broken. He will be missed dearly and all of our wonderful memories will carry us onwards.

A celebration of life has been arranged for Tuesday April 9th 2024, at the Royal Canadian Legion at 59 Lakeport Road in Port Dalhousie from 1:00pm-3:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
