Beverly “Bunny” Kuchyt (Halbert)
With saddened hearts, our family would like to announce the passing of Bunny on January 24th, 2023 at the age of 76.
Bunny was a much-loved member of a large and extended family. She will remain in the hearts and memories of her husband (in her own words “my boyfriend and angel baby”) of 59 years, John (Les) Kuchyt. She was much loved by her two daughters Kathryn (Philip) Noel and JoAnne (Daniel) Sauer. Her cherished grandchildren are Tyler (Melissa) Noel, Jacob (Elizabeth) Noel, Melanie (Drew) Berkel, and Michael (Danielle) Sauer. Her little rays of sunshine, her great-grandchildren are Rory Berkel, Oliver Noel, June Berkel and soon to arrive Baby Noel.
She is survived by her beloved brother Gordon (Margaret) Halbert. She had known loss as she is predeceased by her parents, Clarence (Larry) and Doris (Do) Halbert as well as her brothers, Robert (Bob) Halbert, Donald (Don) Halbert, William (Jack), and much-loved sister Deborah (Debbie) Ellis.
Cousins galore and many nieces and nephews, grand and great-grand too, filled her life. Families by blood and families by marriage were all loved and cherished by Bunny. She will be greatly missed by countless friends from the span of her life, especially by her original crew “The Swampettes” Sharon, Judy, Darla, Bernie, Linda, Lynn and Loanna.
Yes, she went to school and had multiple careers but those things are not what defined her. She was special because her life rippled out and added love laughter and joy to this world. Bunny was a sort of teacher and those who paid attention to her lesson will understand the secret to a happy and fulfilled life. Our Bunny had a life like any other, and yet like no other. Love you always and forever Mommy. XOXO
Friends and Family are invited to share fellowship at her Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 28th from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Fort Erie Conservation Club, 2555 Ott Road, Stevensville, ON. Expect tears but also lots of laughter and love.
